Custom orthotics for problem feet
A custom orthotic is an insert for your shoe that is molded to your foot and made for your specific condition. It provides additional support and cushioning exactly where you need it between your foot and shoe. Some orthotics are rigid in order to control your range of motion and keep your feet in place. Others simply provide extra cushioning where you need it most.
Dr. Simchuk and Dr. Kamery can evaluate your feet, posture, gait and foot condition to determine your need for orthotics. They can then recommend the right type for your specific condition. Your insurance may cover the cost.
If your problem is not severe or you simply can’t afford a custom-made orthotic, we can recommend a more inexpensive over-the-counter, medical-grade insole, arch support or heel liner. We stock high quality, over-the-counter products on-site for your convenience.
